About This Tour
There's a version of London that only exists for about an hour before sunset in summer - when the light turns the river to copper, the bridges stand out against a pale sky, and the city empties just enough to feel manageable. We built a tour around it.
Golden Hour City departs at 6pm and follows the Thames from the Barbican west through the City, across to Southwark, along the South Bank as the sun drops behind the horizon, and back through quieter streets as the evening light fades. It's the longest and most ambitious of our three routes - and the one our guides consider the most beautiful.
This tour runs May through September when the light is right. Group size is still maximum 10. Bring a camera. Returning guests' favourite.
